Elma Chips 50 Years: AI Ads to Scale Creative and Accelerate Performance

In September 2024, PepsiCo/Elma Chips engaged 20DASH to set up a Performance Studio with Creative Gen AI, focused on rapidly multiplying ad variations for the 50th anniversary campaign and the Mordida Premiada promotion. The package included 50–60 assets, across static formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) and videos (6s/15s) for IG/FB Reels, Stories, and Feed, alongside messaging tested such as "Each bite is worth R$500", "A new winner every 5 minutes", and creatives with CTWA (Click to WhatsApp) to facilitate registration. An A/B test of BAU vs. Performance Studio ran for 2 weeks, with internal modeling indicating a strong correlation between creative volume and leads (R²≈0.91) and the potential to reduce CPA by up to ~35% by increasing the volume to ~50 ads.
